What is notary affidavit?
The notary affidavit form contains the statement that declares that the particular statement is true. The notary affidavit forms are used by the people who want to get confirmation of some statements. Any person who wants to get the confirmation of any statement is also required to get himself identified by the notary public. Sometimes, telling the truth is not enough and you are required to tell the truth in writing.
The facts and truths are written in the document. The person who has declared some information as facts signs the document and represents it before the notary public. Whenever you are given the responsibility to write the notary affidavit, it shows that you are thought to be a trusted person who can tell the truth. You can sign an affidavit anywhere you find notary public. Whenever you will be asked to write an affidavit, you might be asked to indulge in a legal process. It’s not always you who will write the affidavit, but sometimes, The legal process is not too long once you present the affidavit to the notary public.
There are different types of affidavit forms which contain different information depending upon the type of affidavit being prepared. All affidavit notary forms share some general information such as the person’s signatures that is given the task to make declaration of any fact, under the oath which claims that the fact mentioned in the affidavit document is true.
There are three conditions under which a person gets positive response from the notary public. Those three conditions are:
- Notary completely identifies the person.
- The person is identified by the notary on the basis of the oath or the confirmation of credible witnesses.
- Notary identifies the person on the basis of the identification documents which the person submits in support of his identity.
